EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR Interested in a position that could have a direct impact on the quality of life for the Chadron community? Keep Chadron Beautiful (KCB) is looking for a dedicated individual to serve as their Executive Director. KCB is a local affiliate of Keep America Beautiful and Keep Nebraska Beautiful. The Executive Director oversees the daily operations of the organization, and is responsible for managing a variety of areas including public relations, community education, grant management and recycling programs. Experience working with grants and non-profit programs is preferred but not required. The successful candidate will have clear communications skills, work well with volunteers from various backgrounds and be committed to caring for our environment. They will have the ability to work with a variety of computer programs including Quickbooks, Microsoft Office and spreadsheets. A full Job Description is available on request. This is a full time, exempt position with a salary range of $37,440 - $50,000, based on experience and education. RECYCLING COORDINATOR Keep Chadron Beautiful (KCB) is offering a part time, with flexible hours, employment opportunity to a self-motivated individual in the position of Recycling Coordinator. This position is responsible for the collection and pickup of cardboard and office paper from designated locations, and the transfer of the materials to the recycling facility. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and represent KCB in a professional manner, building relationships with local businesses to increase awareness of and participation in the recycling program. They will also be responsible for maintenance of the recycle bins in various locations around Chadron. A full Job Description is available on request. This is a part time, non-exempt position with a base hiring rate of $17.00 per hour.
