Plastics 
It's all about the numbers!

On the bottom or the side, usually near the bottom of most plastic containers, there is a recycling symbol with a number inside.  This number (1 thru 7) indicates the type of plastic your bottle or container is made out of. 

When we recycle our plastic, it is sold to companies who are looking for a specific kind of plastic.  Currently, Chadron is able to recycle #1 and # 2 plastic.
